Happy Fiversary!

Today marks five years that Matt and I have been together. We met when I was studying at TAFE with his sister Tracy, and hit if off straight away, and now we can’t see life without one another.

To celebrate, we treated each other to a day at the Beanbag Cinema at Melbourne Central (so comfy!) watching The Lorax, a movie that holds sentimental value to both of us. I grew up reading Dr. Suess, and credit my love of the way words look and sound to his writing; while Matt was recommended it as one of the two books he should read as part of his course in Environmental Management and Ecology, along with Silent Spring by Rachel Carson.

Matt means the absolute world to me, we support and love each other unconditionally, and we’ve grown up together and learnt more about ourselves through our relationship. Best of all, he is hilarious and gives great hugs!

I am one very lucky girl too, because Matt bought me a friendship ring as a present. It’s a beautiful white gold band that looks almost like leaves put together.

For a bit of fun, I thought I would introduce you to Matt via a Vlog, and what better way to do that, than the 15 Weird Questions Tag!

And of course, as it is ANZAC Day today,

Lest We Forget
